‘American Sniper’ available as e-book from Mid-Columbia Libraries
Mid-Columbia Libraries’ ebook service is offering unlimited digital access to the popular memoir of a U.S. Navy Seal until March 31.
Chris Kyle’s American Sniper, a New York Times bestseller, was made into an Academy award-winning movie. A free showing of the movie is scheduled for 7 p.m. April 7 at the library district’s Kennewick branch at 1620 S. Union St.
The memoir was selected as the top biography choice by library patrons. That led OverDrive, a leading ebook service, to designate the book for its Big Library Read program, a global ebook reading club.
There will be no wait lists or holds on the book during the Big Library Read. The ebook will automatically expire on March 31 and there will be no late fees.
