Portland Cello Project to perform March 16 in Pendleton

The Portland Cello Project will perform at 7 p.m. March 16 at the Pendleton Center for the Arts, 214 N. Main St.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

The group has performed around the country and earned praise Rolling Stone, MTV and Spin.

“They’ve built their reputation by blurring musical lines and perceptions wherever they go. Priding themselves on a huge repertoire of genre-bending and unexpected songs, Portland Cello Project plays everything from pop and hip hop to classical tunes with their arrangement of several cellos, percussionists, horns and more,” a news release said.
