Art exhibit by Frances Stilwell opens in March in Pendleton

An exhibit by artist, bio-physicist and ethologist Frances Stilwell opens March 3 at the Pendleton Center for the Arts.

A free opening reception is at 5:30 to 7 p.m.

The exhibit is called Oregon’s Botanical Landscape: An Opportunity to Imagine Oregon Before 1800. It’s based on Stilwell’s book of the same name and features pen and pastel works she created in the habitat of each native plant depicted.

Pendleton Center for the Arts is at 214 N. Main St.
