Jazz virtuoso Wil Blades will perform Feb. 27 at the Emerald of Siam in Richland, along with three other acclaimed musicians.

“The Tri-Cities is blessed to have this quartet come through,” said Emerald owner Dara Quinn, calling the group “one of the coolest acts to have their Emerald debut.”

Showtime is at 9 p.m. Tickets are $7.

Blades is a rising jazz organist from San Francisco, dubbed by jazz legend Dr. Lonnie Smith as “the future” and heir apparent to “carry on the legend (and) the legacy of the organ, of the B-3.”

He will be joined by saxophonist Skerik of groups such as Colonel Les Claypool’s Fearless Flying Frog Brigade and Garage a Trois; guitarist Andy Coe from the Seattle band McTuff and acclaimed drummer Simon Lott.

Advance tickets are available through Brown Paper Tickets.

Emerald is at 1314 Jadwin Ave.
