Acclaimed string quartet to perform Feb. 27 in Richland

The acclaimed Fry Street Quartet will perform at 7 p.m. Feb. 27 at Hanford High School, 450 Hanford St., Richland.

Money raised from the event will go to Richland School District band programs.

The string quartet, based at Utah State University, has performed at venues from Carnegie Hall to Sarajevo and Jerusalem.

The New York Times once called the group “a triumph of ensemble playing.”

Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door.

Advance tickets are available from Richland band students, at Ted Brown Music and Adventures Underground.
