Rick Steber to appear Feb. 16 at Pendleton museum

Writer and storyteller Rick Steber will be at the Heritage Station Museum, 108 SW Frazer Ave., Pendleton on Feb. 16.

He goes on at 7 p.m. Steber “can tell a story like few others can...the voices are the voices of the characters, and listeners are swept away by (his) performance as he makes the real West comes alive,” a news release said.

Steber is the author of more than 40 books, and is the only Oregon writer to win the Western Writers Spur Award, the release said.
