Portland’s Trio Subtonic to perform Feb. 13 in Richland

The Portland-based Trio Subtonic will perform Feb. 13 at the Emerald of Siam, 1314 Jadwin Ave., in Richland.

Showtime is at 9 p.m. Cost is $5.

The trio includes Galen Clark on keyboards, Bill Athens on bass and Charlie Doggett on drums.

The group “blends explosive genre-bending funk with slow burning underground soul jazz” and “delivers soulful grooves, expansive improvisations and a deep pocket that compels audiences to try dance moves they didn't know they had,” a news release said.
