Free seminar, Urban Sketcher events planned at Allied Arts

Urban Sketchers are popping up across the world, and the Tri-Cities has its own group. The Urban Sketchers: Tri-Cities will be showing their work in February at The Gallery at the Park in Richland.
Urban Sketchers are popping up across the world, and the Tri-Cities has its own group. The Urban Sketchers: Tri-Cities will be showing their work in February at The Gallery at the Park in Richland.

A free seminar about finding ways to fund art projects and connect with other artists is planned at 6 p.m. Jan. 27 at The Gallery at the Park, 89 Lee Blvd., in Richland.

Allied Arts is holding the event, which is by Davin Diaz of Artist Trust. The nonprofit Artist Trust is dedicated to supporting artists in the state.

Also, the Urban Sketchers: Tri-Cities will have their work on display throughout February. Urban Sketchers is an on-location drawing group that has popped up in cities across the world, including a Tri-City group. Its primary interest is, “We show the world, one sketch at a time.”
