Pasco author Kayla Rose Warner to sign books Jan. 23

Pasco author Kayla Rose Warner will sign copies of her book The Label Doesn’t Define You on Jan. 23 in Richland.

The event is from 1 to 3 p.m. at Hastings, 1425 George Washington Way.

Warner was a “serious, performance-based perfectionist” growing up, but a near-death experience in college changed her, a news release said.

“Triggering guilt, worry, anxiety and ultimately a serious mental illness, her life became a nightmare. Clinging to her now wavering faith, she had a skewed view of a God who was just waiting for a chance to condemn her,” the release said.

The book traces her journey to “finding her true worth in God’s eyes,” the release said.
