Post-punk troubadour Peter Case to perform Jan. 22 in Prosser
The Roots Cellar is presenting Peter Case on Jan. 22 in Prosser.
Case was a founding member of the Nerves and leader of the Plimsouls, and is described as the “first troubadour of the post-punk era.”
“Case’s debut solo album, produced by T-Bone Burnett, earned him his first Grammy nomination and spearheaded a songwriter movement, now dubbed Americana. Twelve solo albums and two more Grammy nominations followed, including one for his 2007 album Let Us Now Praise Sleepy John,” said information from The Roots Cellar.
Cost is $15. Doors open at 6 p.m. and music starts at 7 p.m.
