Bette Midler tribute show planned Jan. 22-24 in Richland

A show featuring music of Bette Midler is planned Jan. 22-24 in Richland.

The Best of Bette… A Tribute to the Divine Miss M “will pay tribute to the Divine Miss M by replicating her infamous stage show and reprising her long list of popular songs,” a news release said. Proceeds will go to an Academy of Children’s Theatre expansion project.

The show was written by Cathy Kelly, with musical arrangements by Steve Haberman.

Kelly stars, and 7-Wheel Drive and singers Kimber Keel and Trish Thompson will join her on stage.

Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 22-23 and at 2 p.m. Jan. 24 at ACT, 213 Wellsian Way. General admission is $25 per person, with preferred table seating available for $50. Tickets are available at www.academyofchildrenstheatre.org or by calling 509-943-6027.
