Walla Walla Symphony starting new volunteer program
Walla Walla Symphony is seeking volunteers to help out as ushers, in marketing, education and development.
The new volunteer program “is integral to the symphony’s mission to provide live orchestral performances of the highest quality to the Walla Walla community,” a news release said. Volunteers will receive one ticket for every four hours of non-concert service, and ushers will receive a ticket to the events they work.
“In addition, volunteers will have the opportunity to learn and practice important skills such as customer service and teamwork, as well as connect with like-minded individuals who also enjoy symphonic music,” the release said.
