Willamette University vocal groups to perform Jan. 9 in Kennewick

The Willamette University Chamber Choir and Willamette Singers will perform Jan. 9 in Kennewick.

The concert is at 7:30 p.m. at Kennewick First Presbyterian Church, 2001 W. Kennewick Ave.

Wallace Long directs the groups. The chamber choir has 42 members, and the vocal jazz ensemble has 17 members. Both groups perform around the Northwest and beyond.

The concert will include a mix of sacred and secular works, both a capella and accompanied.

Choirs from Richland and Hanford high schools also will perform.

The concert is free, although donations will be accepted.
