Reach center in Richland plans Native American heritage event Nov. 21

The Reach center in Richland is holding a Native American heritage celebration from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 21.

Activities include a tribal blessing, singing, dancing, drumming and special presentations and lectures, including by Arlene James of the Yakama Nation, who was Miss Indian America 1953.

Reach admission is $8 for adults and $6 for students, seniors and military members. Children 5 and younger and Reach members are admitted for free.

The Reach is at 1943 Columbia Park Trail.
