Richard Nicksic’s art show ‘Departures’ opens Nov. 9 in Pasco
Richard Nicksic’s show Departures runs Nov. 9 to Dec. 10 at the Esvelt Gallery at Columbia Basin College in Pasco.
The artist “employs different qualities of line, such as length, thickness, smoothness and even level of organization to produce a diverse body of work,” a news release said. “He says he has delved into abstract art to free himself of the constraints or other styles he has worked in such as surrealism and pop art.”
He’ll give a presentation at 1 p.m. Nov. 10 in room P-201. An artist’s reception follows in the gallery at 2 p.m.
The gallery is open from 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and from 8 a.m. to noon Fridays.
Admission is free.
