Barnes & Noble ‘maker faire’ set Nov. 6-8
Barnes & Noble is holding its first ever retail Mini Maker Faire on Nov. 6-8 at stores throughout the country, including Kennewick.
The faire is for tech enthusiasts, crafters, educators, engineers, authors, artists and other “makers.”
At the Kennewick store, technology product demonstrations are planned, including of a 3-D printer, a drone and a walking and talking robot. The tiny Raspberry Pi computer also will be demoed at 2 p.m. Nov. 7 during a special “Raspberry Jam” session.
Representatives from Sylvan Learning Center, Confluent Space and the Richland Public Library will be on hand during the local faire.
