‘Ghostly Rock Opera’ in Walla Walla on Oct. 23
A performance of Deep Love: A Ghostly Rock Opera is 7:30 p.m. Oct. 23 at Gesa Power House Theatre.
The musical features Jon Peter Lewis, who has appeared on American Idol and The Voice, along will fellow Voice alum Amy Whitcomb, who also appeared on The Sing-Off.
It was co-written by Ryan Hayes, who appeared on The Voice with Lewis as the duo Midas Whale.
“Combining the theatricality of a Broadway-style musical and the fun of a rock band, Deep Love creates a unique soundscape for each scene and character as it tells the tragic tale of a jealous lover’s reach from beyond the grave. It is a story of love, loss and indecision where sweethearts become adversaries in pursuit of what they cannot live without,” a news release said.
Tickets range from $28 to $32. They’re available at www.phtww.com or by calling 509-529-6500.
