Richland’s ‘Sweater Weather’ tree art project planned in October
The second annual “Sweater Weather: Fashion for the Urban Forest” project will run through October at Howard Amon Park.
People create fiber art or other simple wraps for tree trunks in the Richland park. The idea is to promote conservation, pride and walkability, a news release said.
The city’s parks and recreation department and parks commission are co-sponsors.
