Sheep to Shawl fall festival set Oct. 3 in Walla Walla

The annual Sheep to Shawl fall festival runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 3 at the Kirkman House Museum in Walla Walla.

“A small flock of sheep will on hand with shearing demonstrations periodically throughout the day. Vendors will have raw and processed fleece, hand- and machine-spun yarns, knitting and weaving supplies, and items including hats, scarves, wraps, sweaters, and socks made from regionally sourced fiber,” a news release said.

The family-friendly event also includes free museum admission and other activities.

Hand spinners and needle workers are invited to bring projects to work on.

The museum is at 214 N. Colville St.
