LIGO plans Light and Color Festival on Sept. 26

LIGO Hanford Observatory’s Light and Color Festival is 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Sept. 26.

The free event is open to the public. It will include hands-on activities, a presentation by artist Andy Behrle and walking tours of the facility. People of all ages are welcome.

Behrle, from the Yakima Valley, makes art that explores the relationship between light, sound and perception.

LIGO is west of Richland off Horn Road.
