Drum, blues event Sept. 18 in Benton City

A drum and blues event is planned from 4 to 9 p.m. Sept. 18 at Red Mountain Rentals, 804 Babs Ave., in Benton City.

Admission is free. The event will include Native American war drum and stories with Al Cliff and music by the Vaughn Jensen Band.

The special guest emcee is Valentino Reyes. Food will be served.

The event helps kick of Benton City Daze, which is set Sept. 19 in downtown. It includes a parade, music, vendors and pageants.
