Pastel workshop set Sept. 18-20 in Richland

A pastel workshop is planned Sept. 18-20 at The Gallery at the Park, 89 Lee Blvd., in Richland.

Leslie Cain, a well-known Eastern Washington artist whose work is on display in the gallery in September, is teaching the workshop.

It runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. all three days. Cost is $200 for Allied Arts members and $225 for others.

“Working from your own photographs of a favorite place, we will explore ways to get your connection to the land around you out of your brain and down your arm onto the paper,” a news release said.
