SCRAP Tri-Cities is holding a grand opening from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 12.
The nonprofit creative reuse store and donation center is in downtown Kennewick. It’s part of the SCRAP network.
During the grand opening, guests will be able to help fill in two paint-by-numbers murals. Cost is $5 and includes a cup of paint, a brush and a map of which part of the mural to paint. The proceeds will go to SCRAP’s arts education program.
The grand opening also will include a silent auction. And the first 25 guests will receive a free collage packet made by SCRAP volunteers.
SCRAP Tri-Cities’ gallery will feature a community paper art installation.
