Desert Arts Council announces 2015-16 lineup

The Desert Arts Council has unveiled the lineup for its 31st season.

Tickets are on sale at www.desertartscouncil.com.

Here’s the schedule:

▪ Sept. 26: Presidio Brass at 7 p.m. The California ensemble includes a brass quintet, piano and percussion instruments.

▪ Oct. 3: Artist reception from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. will open the Watercolor Society of Oregon’s fall watercolor show. The show runs through Oct. 30.

▪ Dec. 2: The Second City Comedy Tour: Holidazed & Confused Revue at 7 p.m. The holiday-themed show features performers from the famed Second City improv comedy crew.

▪ Jan. 9: Dancing with the Hermiston Stars at 7 p.m.

▪ Feb. 12: The Temptations Revue featuring Bo Henderson at 7 p.m.

▪ May 6-7: 12th annual Eastern Oregon Arts Festival.

All shows are at the Hermiston High School auditorium, except the watercolor artist reception at the Eastern Oregon Higher Education Center and the Eastern Oregon Arts Festival downtown.
