Untapped Blues Festival planned May 9-10
Untapped Blues Festival kicks off May 9 with a Blues on the Columbia event at the Clover Island hotel in Kennewick.
"We are excited to once again be the host hotel for Untapped Blues and Brews Festival," said Amber Martin, marketing director for the hotel. "This year, we are doing something different for the partygoers staying at the hotel. We will hold a poolside reception with the sweet sounds of Black Cat Bone."
After the pool party reception, there will be the evening concerts starting at 6 p.m. with music by Benton on Blues band, followed by the Randy Oxford Band at 7:30 p.m. and Shane Dwight at 9:15 p.m.
Admission to the Untapped Blast-Off Party is $15. A package deal that includes overnight accommodations for two, two tickets to the May 9-10 events, plus a shuttle service to the fairgrounds is $190. Tickets are available at the Clover Island Inn or at eventbrite.com. Tickets purchased at the website are subject to service charges.
"And save some serious coin with our room packages that includes a room for two and two tickets to both May 9-10 events," Martin added. "The after party is becoming a tradition here at Clover Island Inn with a open jam led by Tom Gnoza and the Millionaires Club."
