‘I Believe’ kicks off Mid-Columbia Mastersingers 2025-2026 concert season
Mid-Columbia Mastersingers kicks off its 2025-2026 concert series with “I Believe” Friday and Saturday at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Kennewick.
Myah Rose Paden, mezzo soprano, and Jadrian Tarver, baritone, are the featured performers for the concert, which will feature choral works of Margaret Bonds, Melissa Dunphy, Benjamin Britten, Arvo Part, Paul John Rudoi and Rollo Dilworth.
The poetry of Langston Hughes and W.E.B. Du Bois will be featured as well.
Performances are at 7 p.m., Oct. 10, and 2 p.m., Oct. 11.
Admission is on a “pay what you can basis,” with rates suggested at $15, $25 and $35.
Mic-Columbia Mastersingers formed in 1986 to bring choral music to the Tri-Cities.
The upcoming schedule includes:
- Holiday Concert with Mid-Columbia Symphony, Dec. 20 and 21, Richland High School Auditorium.
- Symphonic Choir with the Walla Walla Symphony, Jan. 18, at Walla Walla University Church, College Place.
- Winter Concert, Feb. 27-28, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.
- Mid-Columbia Arts Fundraiser featuring the music of James Bond, March 14, Three Rivers Convention Center, Kennewick.
- Spring Concert, March 20 and 21, location TBA.
- Symphonic Choir: “We Are Phoenix,” May 22 and 23, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.
