Free, family-friendly ‘Wednesdays in West’ returns with music, classic cars

The West Richland Chamber of Commerce is bring back a summertime staple.

Wednesdays in West relaunches July 30 at Flat Top Park with live music, a classic car showcase, food trucks vendors and more. The events runs from 4:30 p.m. to dusk and is free and open to the public.

This year’s series includes two more evenings on Aug. 13 and Aug. 27.

Opening night will feature live performances from local artists Faith Martin and Bobby Nelson. More than 50 vintage and custom cars are also expected as part of the Tri-Cities Car Culture “Rollin’ West” car showcase. A beer garden for those 21 and older is also new this year.

“We’re excited to bring new life to Wednesdays in West with even more to experience—especially the addition of live bands and the incredible support from the local car community,” Said David Ferro, board president of the West Richland Chamber.

A rotating line-up of food trucks and vendors with handmade goods will be on hand.
