June is a busy month in Tri-Cities. Here’s more than 100 events and activities to plan for

Despite what some people might think, there’s always something to do in Tri-Cities. With all of the businesses, organizations, musicians, recreation options and events based in the area, it’s hard to find a time with nothing going on. Most days, you’ll have to choose between a handful of events when making plans.

This is especially true during the summer months. You’ll be hard-pressed to find a string of days with absolutely nothing to do. On top of the recurring karaoke and trivia nights at popular bars, there’s also seasonal options like Dust Devils games, farmers markets, Live @ 5 free concerts and Manhattan Project tours back on the event roster.

Here’s a roundup of some of the many events scheduled across Tri-Cities this June.

Tri-Cities multi-day events in June

There are many festivals and multi-day events scheduled for the month of June, featuring music, cars and kids activities.

May 31 - June 2

Adventures Underground has celebrated their anniversary the past few years by hosting Mushroom Fest, a continuation of the Alice in Wonderland-inspired themes across the business. Enjoy live music as you visit food trucks and local vendor stands during the three-day event.

June 1-2

The Gesa Stadium will have construction vehicles, cars and other cool rigs for kids to check out in support of local charities. Open for Quiet Time for special needs children at 9 a.m. and to the public at 11 a.m. both days.

June 6-9

At Sacajawea State Park in Pasco, enjoy camping, a potluck, live music and a youth workshop during the weekend-long festival celebrating all things bluegrass.

June 7-9

Experience the Tri-Cities rock scene and this three-day event at Ray’s Golden Lion. With over 30 bands, you can experience it all for $15 per day or $40 for the whole weekend. Music starts at 6 p.m. on Friday and at 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, brought to you by Ray’s and Social Punks of Eastern Washington (SPEW).

Tri-Cities’ first true music festival wowed the Uptown last year with headliner Afroman, and is returning for an even larger production in its second year. Tri Town Get Down has more than 100 performers, including a majority from the PNW and some big-name headliners.

June 8-9

Stop by the Three Rivers Convention Center between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on June 8 and 9 for the semi-annual collectors convention. It celebrated new and seasoned collectors of cards, coins and more, featuring autograph signing from Super Bowl champion Cliff Avril.

June 15-16

The premiere hydroplane racing event that has fueled Tri-Cities for years is back at the Columbia River. Stop by Howard Amon Park for two full days of races, shows and good times.

June 21-22

Starting with a traditional car cruise in Richland, Cool Desert Nights also includes a Party in the park, car show and pancake breakfast.
