Looking for some safe Halloween trick-or-treating spots in Tri-Cities? Here you go

No need to be frightened this Halloween — there’s still plenty of safe fun happening around Tri-Cities.

Take your little goblins for some trick-or-treating at one of these locations:

Pasco City Hall Trick or Treat

What: Family-friendly trick or treating at “spooky” Pasco City Hall. City departments will be open to hand out candy to kids.

When: 3 to 5 p.m. on Oct. 31

Where: 525 N. 3rd Ave.

Cost: Free.

Safe Treat Street at Columbia Park

What: Annual Safe Treat Street Halloween event in Columbia Park.

Who: Vendors, activities and more sponsored by Century 21 Tri-Cities.

When: 4 to 7 p.m. on Oct. 31.

Where: Columbia Park in Kennewick near the playground and pond area.

Uptown Shopping Center

What: Annual trick or treating event at the Uptown Shopping Center

When: 3 to 5 p.m., Oct. 31

Where: 1317 George Washington Way, Richland

WSU Tri-Cities

WSU Tri-Cities 2nd annual Trunk-or-Treat and drive-in movie offers fun and safe option for Halloween

Who: Sponsored by Washington State University Tri-Cities Student Entertainment Board

What: Family-friendly event featuring the Kettle Corn Factory and fresh squeezed lemonade. Costumes encouraged. First-come, first-served parking for the drive-in movie.

When: 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 31, followed by a drive-in movie, featuring The Addams Family (1991) from 8 -10 p.m.

Where: WSU Tri-Cities campus, 2710 Crimson Way, Richland, in the parking lot outside of the Elson S. Floyd building.

Benton City Halloween

What: Trick or treating and an appearance by a Zombie Thriller Flash Mob., plus hot cocoa, games, contests, music and a haunted house at the city park and the Community Center.

When: 5 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 31

Where: Trick or treating downtown. The Community Center is at 806 Dale Ave. 9th Street will be closed to traffic.

Cost: Free
