New Year’s Eve fundraiser for Tri-Cities Carousel of Dreams still on

Looking for a New Year’s Eve activity for the entire family? The First Night Tri-Cities fundraiser will go on as scheduled.

This family-friendly indoor event helps raise money for the Gesa Carousel of Dreams with activities, including inflatables, carousel rides, face painting, a comedy hypnosis show and more.

Nearly all activities will be indoors to help escape the cold.

Facial coverings are required for everyone over age 2, regardless of vaccination status. And the carousel is stopped once every 45 minutes for cleaning and sanitation.

The event is 3-9 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 31, at the carousel amusement center, 2901 Southridge Blvd., Kennewick.

The evening will conclude with fireworks at 9 p.m.

Tickets are sold at the door. Admission is $8 per person for ages 5 and over and free for kids 4 and younger.

The event is to help the Gesa Carousel of Dreams rebound from the affects of the 2020 shutdown. For more information, visit gesacarouselofdreams.com.
