Want to see some Tri-Cities Christmas lights? There’s a map for that

Christmas is quickly approaching, but there is still time to get into the holiday spirit in the Tri-Cities.

That includes seeing hundreds of homes decked out with light displays around the Mid-Columbia region and more family friendly fun.

Holiday light map

Tri-Cities Family Fun has put together a map of more than 400 brightly-lit homes. The interactive Google map lists homes by either the address or by the neighborhood.

For more details about the displays, just click on any of the snowmen, reindeer or Christmas trees on the map, and details about the decorations show up, including whether the display coordinates with music on the radio.

The map is hosted by the Tri-Cities Family Fun Facebook group, which posts family friendly activities throughout the Tri-Cities.

Find the map at bit.ly/TriCityHolidayMap.

Senske Light Show

Senske Services is continuing its annual light show for a 19th year. The Kennewick company installed more than 500,000 light on its property at 400 N. Quay St. for viewing from 5 p.m. to midnight each night through December.

The lights are synced with music, which can be heard on 90.3 FM on your radio.

Selfie stations have been created throughout the display with disinfectant wipes available. Kids can drop off letters for Santa in a drop box. The company also is collecting monetary and non-perishable food donations for 2nd Harvest Tri-Cities.

Christmas Carol Lane

Christmas Carol Lane in Kennewick offers its musical-themed displays that started in the 1960s. Every night, homes in the Kennewick neighborhood light up their houses for the public between West 23rd and 26th Avenues and South Kent and Garfield streets.

Each participating house is assigned a Christmas holiday-themed song and families decorate accordingly. Passers-by can sing or find the music to play along with it.

A website has been created where you can find links to playlists to go with the homes on Pandora and Spotify at christmascarollane.org.
