This Comedy Central comedian is coming to Kennewick. And free family movies and more

Comedian Brian Regan returning to Kennewick

Popular comedian Brian Regan is returning to the Toyota Center in Kennewick on Jan. 9.

Showtime is 7:30 p.m.

Tickets start at $33 and are available through Ticktemaster and the Toyota Center box office. Those purchased through the box office avoid service charges.

Regan now is one of the most acclaimed stand-ups around, hailed by luminaries from Jerry Seinfeld to Chris Rock as a master of the craft.

Mid-Columbia Mastersingers present ‘American Dreamers’ concert

The Mid-Columbia Mastersingers continue their 2019-20 season with “American Dreamers,” a program exploring immigration issues and the meaning of ‘home’ and featuring choral works by Melissa Dunphy and other American composers.

Performances are 7:30 p.m. Jan. 10 at St. Patrick Catholic Parish, 1320 W Henry St. in Pasco, Jan. 11 at St. Joseph’s Church, 520 S Garfield St. in Kennewick and 4 p.m. Jan 12 at St. Joseph Parish, 907 S 6th Ave. in Sunnyside.

Tickets are $25 for general admission and free for K-12 students for the Jan. 10 and 11 concerts. The Jan. 12 concert admission is by donation.

A ‘Behind the Music’ talk begins 30 minutes before each performance.

Richland gallery seeking art for upcoming show

DrewBoy Creative is looking for artistic interpretations of the color blue for its upcoming Blue Show.

All entries in the juried art show must be of original design and personal execution.

The show is open to everyone, with no geographic limitations, and all media are welcome.

Deadline is Feb. 2.

The show opens March 13 at DrewBoy Creative, 285 Williams Blvd., Richland.

Free family films return to the Princess

Prosser’s Princess Theatre is offering fun, free movies beginning in January.

Admission and popcorn are free. Additional concessions are available for purchase.

The series begins with “Big Hero 6” on Jan. 5 at 3 p.m. Doors open 30 minutes before showtime.

Future movies are: “Sing” on Feb. 15 at 2 p.m., “Toy Story 4” on March 8 at 3 p.m., “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs” on April 17 at 7 p.m. and “The Secret Life of Pets” on May 10 at 2 p.m.
