Alternative Gift Fair planned Dec. 1 in Pasco

The 12th annual Alternative Gift Fair is Dec. 1 in Pasco.

The event runs from noon to 4 p.m. at Community Unitarian Universalist Church, 2819 W. Sylvester St.

The fair allows attendees to buy gifts for loved ones in the form of donations to a variety of charities and nonprofits.

Gift cards hand-lettered by local calligraphers are available for purchase to commemorate the gifts.

Live music is planned and nursery care is available.

The fair has raised more than $183,000 over its lifetime.
