They play ‘hellbilly metal.’ And they’re coming to Richland

The Tacoma band Stoned Evergreen Travelers will perform Sept. 25 at Emerald of Siam in Richland.

The free show starts at 8 p.m.

The band – made up of Kevin Pfefferle on electric guitar, Mischa Kianne on violin, TJ DeMots on upright bass and Frey McGreggor on drums – is on tour promoting its second album.

“We are a unique brand of hellbilly metal that combines elements of outlaw country, blues rock and stoner rock,” a news release said.

Dogbite Harris and JFKFC also will take the stage.
