Ye Merrie Greenwood Renaissance Faire happening this weekend in Kennewick
The 32nd annual Ye Merrie Greenwood Renaissance Faire is Saturday and Sunday at Columbia Park in Kennewick.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.
The event includes magic, puppets, music, dancing, jousting, sword fighting, games, food and crafts. Costume rentals are $5.
For those fair-goers with their own Elizabethan garb, a costume contest is planned at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
An auction also is planned that day, with everything from a Sunken Treasures Games gift certificate to a three-month membership to the Tri-City Court Club.
Other highlights include stagings of “Robyn Hoode” at 3:30 p.m. both days by theater students from Chief Joseph Middle School in Richland.
One-day admission is $11 for adults and $8 for kids and senors. Two-day admission is $14 for adults and $11 for seniors and kids. A two-day family pass is for $45.
Children age 4 and younger are admitted for free.
