Adam West Day set Sept. 19 in Walla Walla

Walla Walla will celebrate native son Adam West on Sept. 19 with the second annual Adam West Day.

Opening ceremonies are at 11 a.m. downtown, and activities continue throughout the day, culminating with a “lighting of the bat signal” at 9 p.m. across from the Marcus Whitman Hotel.

West was an actor known for his iconic portrayal of Batman.
