He’s a popular children’s performer. Now he’s taking on Neil Simon.
A West Richland man is starring in Valley Theater Company’s production of Last of the Red Hot Lovers.
Eric Endres plays Barney Cashman, a middle-aged restauranteur in the Neil Simon comedy set in New York in the ’70s.
Endres is a popular children’s musician, known by the stage name Eric Herman. He’s also an experienced actor and playwright. His musical comedy, A Week in the Life, debuted at the Alleyway Theater in Buffalo, and earned him an Artie Award nomination for Best Actor in a Musical.
Heather Ruane, Madison Fortney and Connie Hull star alongside Endres in the Valley Theater production.
Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 16-17 and 23-24, and at 2:30 p.m. Feb. 18 at the Princess Theatre, 1228 Meade Ave., Prosser.
Cost is $15 for adults and $13 for seniors, students and active military members.
