Acclaimed guitarist Tinsley Ellis to perform in Prosser

Acclaimed guitarist Tinsley Ellis will perform Feb. 22 in Prosser.

Showtime is 7 p.m. at Brewminatti.

Ellis has performed around the world and is known as a guitarist’s guitarist, with famous friends such as Derek Trucks, Warren Haynes, Oliver Wood, Jonny Lang and members of Widespread Panic inviting him to jam, a news release said.

Ellis started The Heartfixers with blues singer and harpist Chicago Bob Nelson, and it became one of Atlanta’s top bands.

He also earned renown for his solo work. The Chicago Tribune said he “torches with molten fretwork.”

Tickets to the Prosser show are $20 and are available at therootscellar.com.
