Renowned pairing will bring classic concert to Richland

A concert featuring cellist and composer Clancy Newman and pianist Natalie Zhu is planned at 8 p.m. Jan. 27 in Richland.

Camerata Musica is presenting the show at Battelle Auditorium on Pacific Northwest National Laboratory’s campus.

The concert will include pieces by Beethoven, Schumann and Prokoviev, along with original works composed by Newman.

Newman and Zhu both are renowned and accomplished performers who’ve played around the world.

Camerata Musica presents classical chamber music concerts. It doesn’t charge admission and instead relies on patrons and sponsorships.

Camerata patrons are named in the program and given priority seating before 7:45 p.m. After that, seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
