Kennewick church planning Christmas block party
Kennewick First United Methodist Church is holding a Christmas block party on Dec. 9-10.
Hours are 3 to 6 p.m. both days at the church, 2 S. Dayton Street.
The event will include baked goodies, chestnuts roasted by a fire, hot cider, caroling, games and Polar Express rides. Santa will make an appearance and story and crafts for kids are planned.
The party is the church’s way of celebrating its 115 years of service to the community.
