Acclaimed musicians tapped for Hanford High’s Guest Artist Series
Acclaimed musicians Bob McChesney and Calabria Foti will perform Dec. 8-9 in Richland as part of the Hanford High School instrumental music program’s Guest Artist Series.
The duo will perform at 7 p.m. Dec. 8 with Hanford High jazz ensembles, and then at 4 p.m. Dec. 9 with the symphony orchestra and rhythm section.
Both shows are at the school, 450 Hanford St.
Tickets are $15 for general admission and $25 for reserved seats. They’re available at Ted Brown Music, from Hanford instrumental music students and at the door.
Based in Los Angeles, McChesney and Foti — who are married — have made their mark on the music world.
McChesney is a trombonist who can be heard on TV shows such as Family Guy and The Simpsons, and in hundreds of movie scores.
Foti is a jazz singer who’s performed with luminaries such as Barbra Streisand, Willie Nelson, Paul McCartney and Natalie Cole.
