Camerata Musica presenting Seattle ensemble on Nov. 18
Camerata Musica is presenting the Seattle-based ensemble sound|counterpoint on Nov. 18.
Showtime is 8 p.m. at Battelle Auditorium on the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory campus. The concert is supported in part by a grant from the state arts commission and the National Endowment for the Arts.
Sound|counterpoint will perform Baroque pieces by Bach, Vivaldi, Telemann and Fasch.
The group includes Miyo Aoki on recorder, Curtis Foster on oboe, Linda Melsted on violin and Jonathan Oddie on harpsichord.
Camerata Musica presents classical chamber music concerts. It doesn’t charge admission and instead relies on patrons and sponsorships.
Patrons — who donate $100 or more a year — are named in the program and given priority seating before 7:45 p.m. After that, concert-goers are admitted on a first-come, first-served basis.
