New art exhibition opens Nov. 15 at Columbia Basin College in Pasco

The art show Feeling and Form opens Nov. 15 at Columbia Basin College’s Esvelt Gallery.

It features work by Medford artist Alx Fox and Walla Walla artist Greg Tate. The title is a nod to a book by philosopher Susanne Langer. “In the book, she argues that art is a highly developed form of symbolic communication and one of the few forms of communication that can accurately articulate such things as feelings and emotions,” a news release said.

An opening reception is at 6 p.m. Nov. 15 at the gallery. Gallery hours are 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, and 8 a.m. to noon Fridays
