Battelle Film Club kicks off fall series on Sept. 8

Battelle Film Club’s fall film series kicks off Sept. 8 with Love and Friendship.

The 2016 movie, starring Kate Beckinsale and Chloë Sevigny, is based on the Jane Austen novel Lady Susan.

The film series continues into December.

Here’s the rest of the schedule: Charlie’s Country on Sept. 22; The Secret in their Eyes on Oct. 6; Kahaani on Oct. 13; Peggy Guggenheim: Art Addict on Nov. 3; Tanna on Nov. 17; The Salesman on Dec. 1 and Belle & Sebastian on Dec. 16.

All screenings start at 7:30 p.m.

The films usually are shown at Battelle Auditorium on the campus of Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in Richland. However maintenance there means the first five films will be shown in the East Auditorium at nearby Washington State University Tri-Cities. The Nov. 17, Dec. 1 and Dec. 16 screenings are expected to be held at Battelle Auditorium.

Cost is $4 for adults and $2 for children. Series tickets are $16 for all eight films.
