Piano rock trio Pale People to perform in Richland

The piano rock trio Pale People will perform Aug. 24 at Emerald of Siam in Richland.

Music starts at 10 p.m. There’s no cover.

The group includes Mack Gilcrest on piano and vocals, Kurt Skrivseth on bass and guitar and drummer Austin Graef.

The guys play songs “(that) range from soft confessionals to howling rants about the lonely and insane” and are “Missoula, Mont.’s answer to the question, ‘How loud can piano rock get?’ ” their bio said.

Emerald of Siam is at 1314 Jadwin Ave.
