Seattle songwriter Jill Cohn, formerly of Tri-Cities, to play local show
Seattle songwriter Jill Cohn will perform July 28 at Emerald of Siam in Richland.
Showtime is 6 p.m. Cohn is on tour promoting her latest album, Heartstrings Touching Ground, produced by the Grammy Award-winning Malcolm Burn.
Cohn grew up in Kennewick, playing flute and piccolo in the marching band at Kamiakin High School.
She went on to become an accomplished musician, hailed in the Chicago Tribune for her “beautifully crafted, sometimes bittersweet and sometimes hopeful (songs)” with “soulful and savvy lyrics.”
