Reach museum plans eastern scablands of the Ice Age floods tour

The Reach museum is offering a tour July 21 focusing on eastern scablands of the Ice Age floods.

Ice Age floods expert Gary Kleinknecht is leading the tour, which will feature loess islands, flood deposits at least 780,000 years old, Rock Lake, Big Cove Coulee and more. The tour runs 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and includes lunch, water and transportation. Cost is $87.
