Comedians Brad Upton and Vince Valenzuela to perform July 14 in Benton City

Acclaimed comedians Brad Upton and Vince Valenzuela will perform July 14 at Chandler Reach Vineyards in Benton City.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and showtime is 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 for wine club members and $25 for general admission.

The event is for people 21 and older. Between the Buns will be selling food.

Uptown and Valenzuela both hail from the Northwest. The stop at Chandler Reach is part of their Sips & Giggles Comedy Tour: Red, White, and Not Blue.

“Like wine, comedians get better and mature with time. Our philosophy is to bring top-notch headliners to wineries, wine events and festivals. The ‘Red, White, and Not Blue’ slogan means we will bring the kind of comedy that leaves the raunchy stuff off the palate,” Upton said in a statement.

“Doctors say a glass of wine a day is good for the heart. Others say laughter is the best medicine. We said, ‘Why not do both?’” Valenzuela said.
