Allied Arts’ annual juried show opens July 1 in Richland

Allied Arts’ annual juried show runs July 1 to Aug. 18 at Gallery at the Park, 89 Lee Blvd., Richland.

A reception and award ceremony is 6 to 8 p.m. July 7.

The show features 47 works by 36 artists. More than $2,000 in prizes will be awarded.

Most of the artists are from the Tri-Cities, although some also are from Walla Walla, Spokane and Seattle.

A total of 66 artists submitted 194 pieces for consideration. Sarah Haven, an artist who runs the ceramics program at Central Washington University, is the juror.

Gallery at the Park is open from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays to Fridays and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays.
