Richland Players to present patriotic speeches, songs on July 4

Tri-City actors will perform famous patriotic speeches and songs on July 4 in honor of Independence Day.

The event, put on by the Richland Players, starts at 2 p.m. at the Players’ theater, 608 The Parkway.

Bill McMahon will present Abraham Lincoln’s second inaugural address, Ted Miller will sing Yankee Doodle Dandy and Patty Cook will give Elizabeth Cady Stanton’s The Solitude of Self speech.

Admission is free, with donations accepted.
